Content Roadmap

The 72-chapter structure is finalized and prose is completed chapter by chapter. Current progress, writing order, and acceptance criteria.

The course is delivered in stages. Structure comes first, prose afterward, so each chapter's central question, core concepts, lab, and AI lab are settled before writing begins. This keeps chapters focused.

Current progress

All 72 chapters are complete. Part A chapters 1–36 and Part B T1–T36 follow the ten-step template, each with a lab completable within thirty minutes and an AI lab with a human verification checklist.

The Knowledge Graph is also available. It maps dependencies among all chapters and displays each chapter's prerequisites at the top.

The eleven Career Tracks are written, along with Learning Progress and Proof of Skill— 72 hands-on exercises can be checked off individually, summarized into progress across eight capabilities, and exported as a portfolio-ready checklist.

The Machine Economy Simulator is also available: nine rules with three choices each, nine crisis categories, and a 24-tick simulation— a playable version of the Create a Machine Economy capstone.

P0 through P6 are complete. The course prose, knowledge graph, career tracks, Proof of Skill, and simulator have all been delivered.

Writing order

Order follows what readers need first rather than chapter numbers:

BatchContentWhy it comes here
FirstPart A chapters 1–12The entire Literacy Path; these determine whether most readers stay
SecondPart A chapters 13–24Financial mechanisms and research methods, the main value for non-technical readers
ThirdPart B T1–T18The shortest path from zero to a full-stack DApp
FourthPart A chapters 25–36Business and AI, after readers have sufficient foundations
FifthPart B T19–T36DeFi, security, and AI engineering for readers who can already code
SixthCareer Track proseDevelop after Core stabilizes to avoid repetition

Within each batch, write in chapter order because later chapters refer to earlier models.

Acceptance criteria for every chapter

A finished chapter must satisfy all these conditions:

All ten steps appear in order. Include every level-two heading, followed by Takeaway Questions and Chapter Check.

No terms before step 6. The first five steps describe phenomena. At What It Is Called, readers should recognize the thing just described.

At least one Lab and one AI Lab. The lab takes no more than thirty minutes and specifies a testnet or small amount when assets are involved. The AI lab includes a human verification checklist.

Avoid expiring numbers. Provide a retrieval date and source, or ask readers to look up the number themselves.

pnpm test passes. Scripts check consistency between curriculum data and prose, including titles, central questions, and template structure.

Write together

To contribute a chapter:

  1. In packages/curriculum/src/chapters-a.ts or chapters-b.ts, set its status to written.
  2. Run pnpm test to see which files and sections remain missing.
  3. Follow a published chapter. Its ten steps, lab, and AI lab provide the template.
  4. See the final section of How to Use This Course for writing conventions.
